Reflections of Another Blog

Election Projection

While searching for different blogs on topsites.blogflux.com, I established my interest in political blogs. The blogs that I found most interesting were under Election Projection 2008, by Scott Elliot. The Election Projection 2008 blog provides us with essays on Daily Dispatches about political poll results. I enjoyed skimming through Elliot’s blog because he described how he keeps track of daily election polls. Elliot’s blog site provides us with objective projections using mathematical formulas and latest polling data. Elliot mentions how he keeps track of the Rasmussen and Gallup polls. He also encourages his readers to correct him on any issue they disagree on or have any commentary on what he has to say. I enjoyed the structure of Elliot’s blogs. He has broken up his blogs in different categories where he relates the topic to the blog he was working on that day. I enjoyed reading Elliot’s blog because he discusses how he wants more people to get involved with the upcoming election by giving him feedback by voting on polls. Elliot shows his interest in getting people more active by posting information about upcoming presidential events and primaries. Although he is a conservative, I enjoyed Elliot’s blog the most because he gives people a way to keep up with the current presidential election.

The latest blog posted by Scott Elliot, he mentions new poll results concerning the 2008 election. He had describes that there have been different results from several other polls. Some polls show that McCain is loosing the lead while Obama is advancing. Elliot mentions that it would be a good idea to subscribe for updated poll results. Though the blog, Elliot mentions that John McCain has a possible chance of victory. He says that McCain might be able to pick up states like Michigan and New Hampshire. The blogs tend to get interesting as the elections get closer and closer.
